Participate or lead teams in the design, development and delivery of consulting projects or components of larger, complex projects
Review and analyze client requirements or problems and assist in the development of proposals of cost-effective solutions that ensure profitability and high client satisfaction
Provide direction and guidance to Consultants, and where relevant, to Statistical Services on overall project objectives and client needs
Develop or oversee detailed documentation and specifications, including protocol and study document development
Perform or oversee qualitative analyses to assist in reporting of studies
Support the design, structuring, and delivery of client reports and presentations
Act as primary contact for clients on a project
Recommend improvements and alternative solutions to resolve problems on projects
Proactively develop knowledge of related consulting and life sciences research methodologies
When acting as Project Manager, manage project timelines and finances
Requirements
Master’s or doctorate degree in the social sciences or life sciences
5–8 years of consulting experience managing and delivering COA (mainly PRO) selection, creation, and validation projects for pharmaceutical or life sciences clients
Solid project management skills and client relationship building skills
Ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities, and deliver on tight deadlines
Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the life science industry, particularly around qualitative and mixed-methods approaches to COA development and validation
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Experience in qualitative research methods and literature review methods required
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with bibliographic software, such as Zotero; experience with qualitative coding software, such as MAXQDA.
