Accounting Manager

Role Overview

• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
• Maintain and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Work closely with external auditors, ensuring timely and accurate submission of required documents.
• Work closely with external tax accountants, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Review accounting procedures to recommend and implement process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in accounting or related field; Masters preferred.
• 5-7 years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in public accounting.
• Active CPA license.
• Experience in project management and new process implementation.
