Role Overview
- Own and maintain an accurate inventory of all software licenses and IT assets across the business
- Ensure licensing compliance and optimise usage to minimise cost and risk
- Manage software renewals, audits, true-ups, and subscription lifecycles in partnership with Finance
- Track IT assets end‑to‑end, from procurement through deployment to retirement
- Maintain accurate records for hardware, software, warranties, and repairs using ITAM tools
- Coordinate IT procurement, including vendor quotes, approvals, and purchase documentation
- Support IT budget planning through clear visibility of renewals, stock levels, and depreciation
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and support agreements, monitoring SLAs and expiry dates
- Act as the primary liaison with vendors, resellers, Finance, and Legal on IT contracts and escalations
Requirements
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of licensing models (Microsoft, Adobe, SaaS, Subscriptions)
- Procurement experience (RFQ, PO, vendor relations)
- Asset management tools (SDP+, Endpoint Central, Intune, JAMF)
- Strong Excel and reporting abilities
- Understanding of budgets, consumption modelling, and cost optimisation
- Excellent communication with vendors and internal teams
- Basic understanding of IT operations (hardware, OS, software deployment)
