Power BI Engineer

Role Overview

• Develop interactive and visually compelling Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations based on business requirements;
• Design and manage ETL processes to transform data from various sources into Power BI, ensuring data quality and consistency;
• Optimize report performance through proper data model design, query optimization, and report configuration;
• Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements, gather feedback, and iteratively enhance reports and dashboards;
• Integrate data from multiple sources, including databases, cloud services, and third-party APIs, ensuring seamless data connectivity;
• Create documentation for data models, processes, and reports;
• Address any issues related to data accuracy, visualizations, and report performance.

Requirements

• Technical background in BI for at least 5 years;
• Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau);
• SQL skills, with experience in databases such as Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL;
• Data modelling expertise in SQL;
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English;
• Experience working in an Agile environment;
• Experience with Git
