Provides direct patient care to children with physical disabilities and/or functional limitations in clinic, inpatient, outpatient and outreach programs.
Provides occupational therapy evaluation, consultation and intervention services for assigned routine to complex pediatric patients.
Collaborates with children, families, and other health care team members to implement and coordinate a continuous plan of care.
Participates in staff development and research activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in an approved course of study in Occupational Therapy. Master’s Degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years experience in pediatric therapy strongly preferred.
Current State of Connecticut Occupational Therapist License required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/ CPR in adult, child and infant within first six months of hire.
