Occupational Therapist

Role Overview

• Provides direct patient care to children with physical disabilities and/or functional limitations in clinic, inpatient, outpatient and outreach programs.
• Provides occupational therapy evaluation, consultation and intervention services for assigned routine to complex pediatric patients.
• Collaborates with children, families, and other health care team members to implement and coordinate a continuous plan of care.
• Participates in staff development and research activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in an approved course of study in Occupational Therapy. Master’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in pediatric therapy strongly preferred.
• Current State of Connecticut Occupational Therapist License required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/ CPR in adult, child and infant within first six months of hire.
