Senior User Researcher

Role Overview

• End-to-end research ownership: You independently plan, lead and execute complex research projects.
• Distilling insights: You are an expert at extracting the "gold nuggets" from unfiltered data and observations.
• Strategic sparring partner: You collaborate closely with the product team to validate hypotheses.
• Methodological excellence & advisory: You set and maintain high standards for research methodologies across the team.
• Hands-on field testing: You validate prototypes in real-world conditions and deliver insights about the context-dependence of safety.

Requirements

• Solid experience: You have at least 5 years of professional experience in user research for digital products.
• Methodological depth: You are proficient across the full range of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Analytical acuity: You can identify complex behavioral patterns and translate them into simple, understandable models (e.g., personas, jobs-to-be-done, journey maps).
• Pragmatism & delivery focus: You understand startup pace and provide "lean insights" that enable informed decisions.
• Strong communicator: You can present your findings passionately and convincingly — in both German and English.
