You will function as the Sr. Network Engineer/Analyst for deploying and operating SD‑WAN / WAN network infrastructure based on a standard architecture across enterprise sites and datacenters.
You will design, deploy, migrate, and operate SD‑WAN fabrics (preferred: Cisco Viptela SD‑WAN and/or Juniper SD‑WAN) including hub/spoke and regional connectivity models, segmentation, and service enablement.
You will transition traditional/legacy WAN networks using Software Defined Networking (SDN), Network Function Virtualization (NFV), and automation/orchestration, improving agility and operational consistency.
You will partner closely with cross‑tower infrastructure teams to enable end‑to‑end services and operational workflows (e.g., DNS, routing, security controls, monitoring, and change execution).
You will deliver campus + datacenter routing alignment with the SD‑WAN edge, ensuring clean integration to core switching/routing and datacenter interconnect patterns (BGP/OSPF, VRFs/segmentation, and redundancy).
You will proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize SD‑WAN health and performance (availability, loss/latency/jitter, application routing/QoS), and drive continuous improvement through runbooks and standard templates.
You will support operational processes including incident/problem/change execution and coordination with carriers/vendors for turn‑ups, cutovers, and escalations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree OR 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience.
5+ years of Network/WAN/SD‑WAN engineering experience deploying and supporting enterprise-scale routed networks.
3+ years hands-on SD‑WAN implementation experience (strong preference for Cisco Viptela SD‑WAN and/or Juniper SD‑WAN) including policy, segmentation, and template-driven configuration.
Strong routing fundamentals and troubleshooting expertise across OSI layers, including BGP, OSPF, VRF/segmentation concepts, NAT, DHCP/DNS dependencies, and encrypted overlays (e.g., IPsec).
Working knowledge of SD‑WAN architecture components and operational model (e.g., controllers/management plane concepts; centralized provisioning and monitoring).
Experience integrating SD‑WAN edge with campus and datacenter routing/switching environments, including high availability and resiliency design.
