Role Overview
- Comply with and support the development and management of the Business Management System in accordance with ISO and regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for the development, preparation, issue, and control of quality related project documentation.
- Manage the internal and supplier audit programme.
- Responsibility for delivering QA/QC oversight and assurance arrangements for projects and supply chain.
- Ensure procedures and management processes are maintained in line with regulatory standards.
- Manage and coordinate project quality activities.
- Provide guidance and advice to project teams on quality issues.
- Encourage learning from experience (LFE) to aid continual improvement.
- Represent quality during project meetings.
- Identify improvement opportunities and support their pursuance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a quality related role ideally in the construction industry.
- Understanding of CDM regulations
- Proven experience on the interpretation and implementation of ISO and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to produce project related Quality Plans, processes and associated quality documents (ITPs, check sheets).
- Internal Auditor qualification ISO 9001:2015
- Member of Chartered Quality Institute
- CQI
- Lead Auditor qualification – ISO 9001:2015 (Desirable)
- Engineering qualification or relevant experience and knowledge of design and engineering methodologies (Desirable)
