Role Overview
- Provide service to existing clients related to updating policies
- Answer customer calls and correspondence regarding new or existing insurance policies
- Work with new clients to finalize and bind new coverage
- Confer with customers to provide detailed information about products and services
- Resolve product or service issues
- Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions
- Collaborate with team members and mentor staff
Requirements
- Hold the insurance license required by your state
- Minimum of two years of insurance account management experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work experience
- Strong knowledge of insurance products and usages
- Demonstrate strong customer focus and excellent phone manner
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent math and reading skills
- Attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking, and follow-up skills
- Technology and computer proficiency including agency management systems
