Execute core accounting and bookkeeping duties; maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for key accounts
Be part of month-end and year-end closings; prepare analysis for key accounts
Be part of the customer invoicing process, including contracts review and interactions with cross-functional teams
Vendor management and invoice processing
Support financial forecast and budgeting processes
Support audit processes to work to strengthen internal controls and reporting procedures
Identify opportunities for automation in financial reporting processes

3+ years of public accounting experience or strong accounting/ financial reporting experience at a high-growth technology startup
CPA or equivalent qualification
Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent education and experience
High attention and detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and communications skills
Strong analytical skills and ability to perform complex reconciliations
Take a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem solving
Have a strong desire to build accounting processes in a fast-paced technology environment
Ability to work autonomously in a remote, async-first environment while staying well-connected to the team
Bonus if You Have Big 4 experience in technology, financial services sector
Experience with Canadian and US corporate and indirect tax
