Maintain the general accounting for a group distribution entity.
Participate in month-end closes, ensuring deadlines are met.
Support the accounting team with additional tasks as required.
Ensure correct posting of accounting entries (overheads, fees, fixed assets, taxes, expense reports, etc.).
Enter customer and supplier payments, perform account follow-up and account matching/reconciliation.
Record bank transactions and perform bank reconciliations.
Perform intercompany reconciliations.
Monitor fixed assets and calculate depreciation.
Perform month-end close activities: FNP (accrued invoices), CCA (prepayments/deferrals), cut-offs and account reviews in compliance with deadlines.
Prepare year-end balance sheet items with the Financial and Administrative Manager.
Handle the monthly VAT declarations.

Education: BTS, DCG or equivalent in Accounting/Management.
Minimum 6 years' experience in a similar general accounting role.
Strong experience with monthly and annual close processes (FNP, CCA, cut-offs, provisions).
Good knowledge of tax obligations (VAT and other taxes).
Familiarity with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) is required.
Excellent command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Previous experience in an accounting firm would be an advantage.
