Role Overview
- Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting via cold calls, email, and LinkedIn to generate qualified leads
- Identify and engage decision-makers in residential and commercial solar markets
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on defined criteria and sales readiness
- Schedule discovery calls and demos for Account Executives
- Maintain accurate records of all activities and pipeline in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
- Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to optimize outreach strategies
- Stay up to date on solar industry trends, incentives, and competitive offerings
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a Sales Development Representative, BDR, or outbound sales role
- Proven experience in solar or adjacent industries (renewable energy, utilities, HVAC, construction, or similar)
- Strong track record in cold calling, lead generation, and pipeline building
- Excellent communication and objection-handling skills
- Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work remotely and hit targets consistently
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
