Develop and implement payer analytics and economics strategies around provider rates.
Analyze behavioral health, physical health, and pharmacy data and rates using a variety of data sources and programs including but not limited to Excel, SQL, Access, etc.
Utilize industry trends and Medicaid fee schedules and data concepts to drive decision-making.
Prepare presentations and other collateral materials to support rate initiatives.
Participate in rates process improvement projects.
Provide technical training and support to team members.
Requirements
High School Diploma/GED and six (6) years of experience in healthcare analytics or medical economics; OR Associate’s degree and four (4) years of experience in healthcare analytics or medical economics; OR Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of experience in healthcare analytics or medical economics; OR Equivalent combination of education/experience.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must reside within North Carolina.
Must be able to travel within catchment as required.
Two (2) years or more experience in Managed Care industry (Preferred).
