Senior Project Manager – Meetings, Events & Conferences

Role Overview

• As a Senior Event Manager / Project Manager (m/f/d) based in Munich, you plan and manage creative live experiences for national and international clients — from intimate events to large-scale productions.
• You take the lead in bringing creative event concepts to life, ensuring unique events and satisfied clients.
• Consultative personality: You build and maintain client relationships within your projects, advise them as needed, and lead project meetings.
• Organizational talent: You coordinate and manage all suppliers involved in your events and plan the resources for your project teams.
• Commercial skills: You prepare costings for new proposals, monitor budgets and handle project accounting — including reporting and documentation.
• Idea generator: You continuously develop our live, online and hybrid formats and contribute to cross-team projects.

Requirements

• Completed commercial training or equivalent qualification
• At least 5 years of professional experience in event management, including contract negotiations, pitches, budgeting and leading smaller teams
• Confident German and English communication skills (spoken and written)
• Proficient in common MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Team-oriented with a structured working style, advisory, negotiation and problem-solving skills, and strong business acumen
• Willingness to travel (approx. 15% of the role)
