Act as a strategic leadership and human resources advisor to senior leaders and their teams
Establish diagnoses, propose innovative and integrated HRM strategies aligned with the challenges, objectives and priorities of the leaders of the assigned groups as well as organizational values
Provide coaching, strategic professional advice and practical support on all facets of HR management, taking into account best practices, trends and applicable legislation (laws and regulations)
Support managers to fully take ownership of different dimensions of their role and act consistently with the leadership success factors
Play a key role in organizational transformations, anticipate issues and propose approaches to encourage support for changes
Guide leaders in identification and development of talent and succession, workforce planning as well as in the creation of high-performing and engaged teams
Provide guidance to all stakeholders in prevention and management of conflicts and in resolution of any issues that could compromise the organizational climate
Carry out internal investigations regarding labor law, harassment and other employee complaints
Design and lead co-development workshops, round tables, training and information sessions intended for managers and/or employees
Act as a representative of the Intact HR community, develop and maintain your network of internal and external contacts
Actively participate in development of your HR colleagues’ skills by adopting a coaching approach
Lead or participate in national-scale projects and contribute to the deployment of corporate programs and sectoral initiatives
Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR programs and processes
Requirements
University degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources Management or combination of Education and relevant experience
10+ years of progressive experience in human resources as an HR Business Partner and/or organizational design
Capacity to evolve in a multi-site, matrix organization and in a constantly evolving environment
Strong planning and project management skills, rigor, analytical and synthesis skills
Business acumen, tolerance for ambiguity and agility
Solid knowledge and experience in all areas of human resources including talent management, performance management and employee relations, disability management, change management, engagement, compensation, organizational development, workforce planning and succession planning
Pragmatism and strategic thinking to resolve both operational and highly complex issues
Proven influencing, communication, and relationship-building skills
Proven track record of raising leadership awareness, cultivating engagement, and creating alignment across teams and levels within the company
Excellent collaborative skills, propensity to develop and share expertise with colleagues
CHRP and/or CHRL designation is an asset
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada
