Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, following up outstanding invoices in line with agreed payment terms.
Maintain and update the accounts receivable ledger.
Handle customer queries and disputes, resolving issues promptly while maintaining positive client relationships.
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Assist in assessing customer creditworthiness by conducting credit checks and supporting risk evaluations.
Work closely with internal teams to resolve billing issues, contribute to process improvements, and support audit requirements and the preparation of financial reports.
Requirements
Approximately 1 or 2 years’ experience in a credit control or similar finance role.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to manage challenging conversations.
When faced with a problem, you collaborate with the appropriate people to evaluate different options and find practical solutions.
