About this role
Role Overview
- Create journal entries to record transactions on a modified cash basis.
- Reconcile all cash and investment accounts monthly.
- Prepare financial statements accurately and within required timeframes.
- Monitor and facilitate appropriate and timely processing of Trust expenses.
- Calculate premiums and administrative fees timely and accurately.
- Back-up daily cash management and investment directives tasks, as needed.
Requirements
- 1+ year of operational accounting; employee benefits experience a plus
- Knowledge accounting principles and practices
- Degree in Accounting or related field or combination of education and experience
- Proficient in MS Office with advanced level QuickBooks & Excel
- Able to quickly assess and analyze problems and develop solutions
