Student Assistant, Software Development – Wireless Signal Processing

Role Overview

• Software development of signal processing algorithms for Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC)
• Implementation of a DSP library in Python
• Technical documentation and maintenance of the software
• Experimental validation of the software through simulations
• Collaboration with the hardware team to integrate algorithms into radio testbeds

Requirements

• Enrolled full-time at a German university in electrical engineering, communications engineering, computer science, or mathematics, with strong academic performance
• Very good programming skills in Python and experience with libraries such as NumPy, Matplotlib, Jupyter, and SciPy
• Experience with data-science libraries (TensorFlow, Pandas) is a plus
• Solid background in digital signal processing algorithms
• Basic understanding of wireless communications and radar systems
• Demonstrable practical experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows
• Good communication skills in English and German, and a collaborative team spirit
• Availability to work on-site in Berlin
