About this role
Role Overview
By owning the end‑to‑end solution architecture for the Corporate Internet Bank
By driving and governing bank‑wide integrations for Corporate Internet Bank and channel components: Identity & authentication platform integration, Core banking integration, Event streaming and domain events (Kafka / Data Mesh patterns), CRM / onboarding / KYC integration, Liquidity / group accounts integration (via connector approach), Data platform integration for reporting / statements / analytics
By defining target integration patterns: API standards, event contracts, versioning, error handling, resilience, security controls, auditability, and observability
By leading architectural decision making: ADRs, reference architectures, non‑functional requirements, migration sequencing, and dependency management
By being hands‑on where it matters: unblock teams, review designs, support delivery, troubleshoot complex cross‑system issues
By coaching engineers and tech leads: raise the bar for solution design, documentation quality, testing strategy, and operational readiness
By building an engineering “architecture culture”: design reviews, mentoring, lightweight governance that enables speed without losing control
By introducing pragmatic agentic development practices where they add measurable value (e.g., accelerating analysis, integration testing, documentation) while respecting banking controls and data protection
Requirements
Strong experience designing and owning architectures in large integration landscapes (APIs + messaging/event‑driven)
Solid banking/financial domain experience (regulated environment, audit constraints, data protection, operational risk thinking) will be preferred
Proven ability to lead cross‑team alignment and make decisions in complex stakeholder environments
Practical experience with Kafka/event streaming and contract-driven integration
Cloud architecture experience (AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, modern CI/CD)
Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level
Some Nice-To-Haves would be: Corporate banking digital channels experience (payments, cash management, statements, entitlements, signatures)
Experience with micro‑frontend frameworks and “backend-for-frontend” patterns
Experience applying AI/agentic tooling safely in SDLC.
