Support full-cycle recruitment by posting job opportunities, screening resumes, coordinating interviews
Conduct candidate outreach, reference checks, and interview follow-up communications
Maintain applicant tracking systems, recruitment trackers, and candidate records to ensure accuracy and confidentiality
Assist with pre-onboarding activities including offer package preparation, orientation scheduling, and new hire documentation
Support talent pipeline and recruitment initiatives through sourcing, outreach activities, partnerships, and recruitment events as required
Support the preparation of recruitment reports, data tracking, and hiring activity updates
Provide administrative support for People and Culture projects, initiatives, and general team operations as required
Requirements
Must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment
Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
Must have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment
Must be able to work all 8 weeks consecutively
Currently enrolled in or a graduate of a University/College Human Resources program
Previous administrative experience is an asset; prior recruitment or HR experience is considered an asset
Excellent verbal and written communications skills both in person and over the phone
Demonstrated accountability with a strong work ethic is required
Must be self-directed with the ability to exercise independent discretion
