About this role
Role Overview
Support planning, research, and administrative tasks for Jack Ride and community fundraising initiatives
Coordinate communications with participants, donors, vendors, and event organizers
Assist with tracking donations, troubleshooting tax receipts, and managing fundraising platform data
Track expenses related to supplies, materials, and event logistics
Respond to public inquiries related to events and fundraising
Help ensure a positive and engaging supporter experience
Coordinate and support volunteers in their roles
Assist with stewardship and post-event reporting
Research and propose gift-in-kind partnerships for fundraising incentives
Contribute to community event promotion strategies
Support grant application efforts with the Corporate Partnerships team
Review and clean CRM data to improve accuracy and consistency
Identify duplicate records and support data merging processes
Assign constituent codes and maintain database hygiene
Support broader data management initiatives with the Annual Giving team
Participate in team meetings and skill-building sessions
Maintain ethical standards when working with youth mental health content
Collaborate within flexible working hours (core: 10 AM – 4 PM ET)
Requirements
Eligible for the Canada Summer Jobs program (ages 15–30 and legally able to work in Canada)
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills
High attention to detail, especially when working with data
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Customer service experience and ability to engage warmly with others
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and G-Suite
Comfortable working with data for extended periods
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and collaborate
Experience with fundraising or nonprofit work (asset)
Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems (asset)
Previous involvement with Jack.org programs (asset)
Knowledge of youth mental health in Canada (asset)
Working proficiency in French (asset)
Access to an external monitor for data work (asset)
