About this role
Role Overview
Oversee and direct financial aid operations of the Nursing Financial Aid Office.
Administer and manage a complex financial aid portfolio in compliance with all Federal and State regulations and University policies.
Manage all new and existing scholarship programs.
Administer and oversee all PhD and Post-doctoral financial student funding including primary and secondary appointments.
Administer and manage a Merit-based financial aid program for MPN, MSN, MSNS, and DNP Programs.
Manage the Financial Aid staff to meet the overall needs of the financial aid office.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required, master’s preferred with 5-7 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to analyze financial data and allocate funds to meet strategic goals.
Strong knowledge of financial aid processes, federal regulations including loans and work-study programs, and financial aid packing are required.
Knowledge of the student experience in highly competitive programs a plus.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface effectively with all levels.
Excellent organization skills with the ability to plan and manage multiple projects.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and interact with diverse populations.
Strong computing skills in MS Office.
Prior knowledge of financial aid and billing systems, especially Banner preferred.
Prior supervisory experience required.
