Drive prospecting and acquisition of new business with pharmaceutical/ industry customers
Drive negotiation of new contracts and agreements with industry clients
Oversee lifecycle management of partnerships/projects, including initiation, contracting, order creation and documentation, and deliverables to external stakeholders
Represent Adaptive externally and deliver scientific presentations to identify opportunities
Contribute to new bookings and recognized revenue corporate goals
Work cross-functionally to manage and deliver deal commitments
Support business development strategy and initiatives
All other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s and 7+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 5+ years experience in academic and biotech industry. Candidates with a PhD and 2 years of post-doc industry experience will also be considered.
3+ years of Clinical Lab, Client Services, Business Development or Alliance Management experience preferred.
PhD degree in immunology, cancer biology, or relevant scientific discipline preferred
Demonstrated track record of closing transactions.
Experience in cellular immunology/biology, PCR or NGS-based assays is preferred.
Experience with clinical trials operations/ design is preferred
Experience working with internal/external multidisciplinary teams including R&D, Commercial, Legal, IP, Finance and Operations
Excellent written communication skills are required, including technical computer proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
Ability to work in a matrix environment and leverage cross-functional resources.
Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently as well as on a team with the ability to exercise sound independent judgment
Demonstrated enthusiasm, drive, and energy in building internal and external partnerships and promoting a professional manner.
Independent strategic thinker with strong ability to solve complex problems.
