Be responsible for accounting processes under your supervision, ensuring daily accounting tasks and month-end closing procedures and controls within the area assigned to you
Provide data necessary for financial and tax reporting processes within the area of your responsibilities
Handling communication and requests received from business stakeholders and external parties
Initiate accounting process and system improvements and work together with the team on implementation of various improvements and efficiency initiatives
Actively participate in Baltic wide initiatives in relation to accounting topics within the assigned area of competence
Contribute to development of internal organizational documents, policies and procedures
Requirements
Proactive, positive and open-minded mindset
Understanding of legal and regulatory framework for accounting and taxes
Willingness to learn new things and actively follow developments in accounting and tax related matters
Higher education in finance, economics or accounting
At least 3 years of experience in accounting
Very good communication and cooperation skills
Initiative, high accuracy and sense of responsibility
Very good computer skills
Knowledge in using accounting software (preferably global)
Very good spoken and written English
Ability to work in a team and independently
Good time management and activities’ prioritization skills
Ability to adopt to changing environment
