Act as a senior P&C advisor to leaders
Proactively manage complex employee relations matters
Act as the primary P&C interface with the German Works Council
Lead and manage all Works Council relationships
Prepare and lead consultations and negotiations
Ensure timely information, consultation and co-determination processes
Partner with Legal and leadership to achieve compliant, pragmatic outcomes
Maintain a strong understanding of local and regional employment legislation
Propose and drive enhancements to policies, employee handbooks, and HR practices
Collaborate closely with the Legal team on employment contracts

10+ years of progressive experience in HR
Strong focus on Work Council Experience
Demonstrated, hands-on experience working with Works Councils
Post secondary education in Human Resources, Employment Law, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline; professional HR qualification is preferred
Strong working knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and organisational change management
Proven ability to operate effectively in complex, matrixed organisations
Experience working with HRIS platforms, with a preference for Workday
