Manage end to end payroll processing for LATAM countries, working closely with external payroll providers
Ensure payroll is processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with country specific regulations
Review and validate complex payroll transactions, including equity, bonuses, severance, and corrections
Perform month end activities, including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including monthly, quarterly, and annual filings and payments
Maintain and enhance internal controls to track and reconcile payroll changes
Develop and maintain process documentation in line with Sarbanes Oxley requirements
Act as a key liaison between Finance and HR, ensuring accurate employee payroll data and interacting with senior leadership
Drive process improvements and efficiencies across payroll operations
Support timely salary and tax payments in coordination with Finance and HR teams
Handle administrative tasks such as payslips, year-end tax certificates, and payroll inbox management

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
3 to 5 years of payroll experience, ideally with LATAM exposure
Fluency in Spanish and advanced English, with ability to communicate with global stakeholders
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong knowledge of payroll practices in Colombia, with additional experience in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, and Peru considered a plus
Understanding of payroll processes, HR practices, and compliance requirements
Ability to work under strict deadlines with high accuracy
Strong judgment and ability to escalate issues appropriately
Experience working with payroll providers
