Senior Piping Stress Engineer – Nuclear

Role Overview

• Provides senior-level technical support by performing various engineering tasks
• Prepares and reviews complex calculations
• Monitors the work of assigned staff to ensure project requirements are met
• Prepares documented design input for drawing production
• Reviews design input and performs engineering review of drawings
• Prepares and reviews equipment and material specifications
• Develops project budgets, schedules, and work plans
• Communicates effectively with project team members and clients

Requirements

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Aerospace, or Structural/Civil Engineering
• 5 or more years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of ASME B31.1 and ASME B&PV Section III piping codes
• Knowledge of the design, selection, and application of pipe supporting elements
• Working knowledge of commercially available piping products and their application
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
