About this role
Role Overview
- Provide primarily remote support of 2 datacentres
- Troubleshooting complex network issues including raising tickets
- Planning and implementation of upgrades
- Liaising with other functional teams in Infrastructure and application teams
- Participation in a shift pattern covering 7AM – 7PM Monday to Friday
Requirements
- Tier 2 and 3 network support
- Troubleshooting complex network issues
- Planning and implementation of upgrades and hardware refresh
- Cisco ACI Configuration, tenants, application profiles, EPGs
- Experience with Cisco Nexus 9000 switches
- Ability to use Ansible, Python, and REST APIs
- Experience using Cisco APIC, SNMP, and telemetry tools
- In-depth experience with Cisco ASA and Firepower
- Managing high-availability configurations
- Proficient in configuring Site-to-Site VPNs (IPsec)
- Proficient in F5 BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager
- Experience using tools like Xabbix, SolarWinds, or Splunk
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and ICMP
- Use of Wireshark and packet-tracer commands
- Managing, configuring, and supporting Infoblox Core Network Services
