About this role
Role Overview
Develop and execute pricing strategies and underwrite solutions that support client retention and growth while meeting profitability targets.
Lead complex financial, quantitative, and cost modeling analyses across multiple lines of business, including Commercial Employer Groups, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and Health Care Exchange.
Provide consultative plan design recommendations by analyzing historical performance, identifying trend drivers, and modeling future opportunities.
Partner with Sales and Account Management to evaluate renewal and new business opportunities, including preparation of pricing, product positioning, and financial components of RFP responses.
Present analytical findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and external clients, including executive-level audiences.
Support senior leadership by analyzing margin performance, profitability drivers, and financial risks to inform business decisions.
Oversee client contract financial setup and ongoing management to ensure compliance with pricing guarantees and contractual terms.
Continuously enhance financial models, tools, and best practices to improve efficiency, accuracy, and client support outcomes.
Requirements
Minimum one year of professional experience in financial analysis, underwriting, pricing, or a related quantitative role.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to build and interpret financial and cost models.
Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with standard business and analytical tools.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field (preferred).
Experience within healthcare, managed care, pharmacy benefit management, or pharmaceutical environments (preferred).
Experience supporting client negotiations, pricing discussions, or executive-level presentations (preferred).
Advanced financial modeling or analytical tool experience (preferred).
