Lead complex, multi-site network projects end-to-end
from requirements gathering and design through implementation, testing, and handoff to operations
on schedule and within budget.
Own the edge network reference architecture and standards.
Serve as the enterprise subject-matter expert for campus/branch network architecture
access/distribution/core switching, enterprise wireless, SD-WAN, remote access and security.
Engineer solutions for distribution center-specific requirements
high-density wireless for handheld scanners and mobile devices, ruggedized infrastructure for warehouse environments, and IoT/OT network segmentation for conveyor systems, automation equipment, and building management systems.
Architect interim-state and phased migration designs (e.g., temporary site-to-site VPNs, dual-homed WAN circuits, split-tunnel configurations) that allow transitions without disrupting warehouse operations or order fulfillment.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or technical institute degree/certificate in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
10+ years of hands-on network engineering experience with a demonstrable focus on project-based work (design, implementation, migration).
Proven track record of delivering multi-site network projects across at least three of the following technology domains: campus switching, enterprise wireless, SD-WAN/WAN, NAC/802.1X, IoT/OT segmentation, network security appliances.
Expert-level knowledge of networking protocols, routing, and switching
with deep hands-on experience in Cisco, Aruba/HPE, or comparable enterprise platforms.
Experience developing and executing migration/integration playbooks for large-scale, multi-site rollouts.
Advanced certifications strongly preferred: CCNP Enterprise, CCIE, or other vendors equivalent.
Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar) to drive repeatable, scalable project delivery.
Familiarity with Git or other version control systems for managing configurations and automation code.
