Role Overview
- Use expertise of global quality standards to lead preparedness for regulatory inspections
- Collaborate with AbbVie Manufacturing Site leadership and global functional groups
- Drive the development and maintenance of a quality culture in the company
- Conduct mock audits and prepare global sites for future inspections
- Provide consultation, guidance, and strategic input to leadership teams
- Ensure the delivery of all quality elements needed for new product launches
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Life Science or other technical area required
- Graduate degree desired
- 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Regulatory, Operations, or Technical Support in a pharmaceutical or medical device setting required
- 6+ years of direct Plant leadership in a pharmaceutical setting preferred
- Experience working with third party external manufacturers preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of biological and/or pharmaceutical technologies
- Strong technical and analytical expertise required for problem resolution
- Ability to navigate global structure with various ways of working
