About this role
Role Overview
- Part of the Procurement Team who work with the Global Category Managers to develop and execute a world class procurement function
- Create and execute category strategies primarily for the categories of Hardware, Datacentre and Telecommunications
- Manage the end to end procurement of products and services within these categories
- Achieve business savings and deliver value to the business
- Engage with key business stakeholders
Requirements
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of Best Practice procurement process
- 5 years’ experience in category management
- IT procurement experience (including Hardware, Datacentre Services & Telecoms)
- Advanced stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English, verbal and written with good communication skills
- Intermediate knowledge of MS-Excel, MS-Power Point & MS-Word (Advanced skills – desirable)
- Certifications from a globally recognized would be an added advantage (MCIPS/ CPSM/ CSCP/ PRINCE/ PMP)
