Provide on-site support for the Intron product range, including calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting of electromechanical, servo-hydraulic and CEAST materials testing systems
Ensure all requests for onsite service are dealt with promptly and professionally
Look for leads for new machines, accessories and other services
Advise customers regarding product obsolescence
Report on competitive equipment and activities at customer sites
Prepare and plan for visits to complete jobs correctly
Manage cost-efficient travel and maintain communication with customers
Deliver software training to customers when required
Ensure accurate administration of work
Requirements
Relevant experience in a similar role
Relevant technical qualification
mechatronics, mechanics, electrical, electronic engineering or equivalent
Troubleshooting experience with electro mechanical or servo hydraulic systems
Ability to pick up technical training, processes and systems quickly
Basic awareness of costs and own impact on margin
Flexible, resilient, open minded
Computer Literate
Well organized with good time management skills
Good written and verbal communication skills including fluency in English
Excellent interpersonal skills
Team player. Customer oriented.
