About this role
Role Overview
Work closely with Sales and overlay teams to grow the profile, adoption and revenue of Security Platform offerings.
Act as a subject matter expert across Security Platform solutions, guiding customers and sales teams throughout the full sales lifecycle.
Lead customer discovery and scoping calls focused on Security Platform requirements and outcomes.
Support and manage Security Platform‑related marketing activity, evolving messaging and positioning in line with market trends.
Liaise with strategic security vendors to support opportunities, roadmap alignment and joint initiatives.
Provide sales teams with enablement and support for Security Platform offerings, including proposals and bid responses where required.
Identify cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities across the wider Phoenix security and technology portfolio.
Support the strategic growth and direction of the Security Platform team and the wider Security Solutions practice.
Work towards agreed financial targets, KPIs, pipeline objectives and forecasting accuracy using internal systems.
Maintain accurate opportunity forecasting and reporting.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Phoenix when working on cross‑departmental initiatives and opportunities.
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the cyber security threat landscape and emerging industry trends.
Carry out any other reasonable activities required to support the success of the Security Platform team.
Requirements
Proven experience in IT solutions sales with a focus on security technologies.
Strong understanding of cyber security concepts and a passion for technology.
Ability to act as a credible subject matter expert with customers and internal teams.
Experience supporting customer discovery, solution positioning and opportunity development.
Confident presenter with experience delivering product demonstrations or solution overviews.
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across sales, vendors and internal teams.
Commercially aware, with the ability to manage pipeline, forecasting and revenue targets.
Proactive, self‑driven approach with the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Minimum GCSE / A‑Level education or equivalent.
3+ years’ experience in an IT solutions sales role (security focus beneficial).
Security‑related certifications desirable but not essential.
Working knowledge of endpoint security, SIEM/SOAR, vulnerability management, email security and related platforms beneficial.
