About this role

Build strong relationships with business and technology partners to become a trusted data risk advisor.
Conduct thorough risk assessments, data process and control design, and advocate for process excellence.
Identify opportunities to embed data risk management best practices within business operations.
Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to ensure data management controls are incorporated into technical product roadmaps.
Perform gap assessments to identify weaknesses in current data management controls/processes.

Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 5 years of experience in a data management or data governance
At least 5 years of experience in risk management within a FinTech, Financial Services, or Technology organization
Master's Degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Mathematics (preferred)
3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams (preferred)
6+ years of experience overseeing metadata management and data quality (preferred)
