Role Overview
- Maintain 99.9% uptime for critical platform services.
- Reduce mean time to resolution (MTTR) for platform incidents by 20%.
- Implement automated recovery mechanisms for common failure scenarios.
- Achieve 100% infrastructure-as-code coverage for new deployments.
- Reduce deployment time by 30% through CI/CD pipeline optimization.
- Implement GitOps workflows for all production environments.
- Support successful onboarding of new customers on the Fabric platform.
- Enable EA (Enterprise Archive) tenant deployments with minimal lead time.
- Develop and maintain self-service capabilities for common provisioning tasks.
- Establish reliable US-timezone oncall coverage for platform services.
- Enable follow-the-sun support model with seamless handoffs between regions.
- Achieve sub-30-minute response time for P1/P2 incidents during US hours.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience managing production AWS environments at scale.
- Proven track record of Kubernetes cluster administration and troubleshooting.
- Experience implementing and maintaining Terraform-based infrastructure.
- Background in CI/CD pipeline development and release engineering processes.
- Prior oncall experience with demonstrated incident response capabilities.
- Experience working in distributed, global team environments.
