Adjunct Faculty, Finance

Role Overview

• Provide quality education and maintain high standards of academic excellence in teaching assigned courses in the discipline
• Teach assigned courses in person and asynchronously online
• Maintain office hours as assigned
• Arrive on-campus at least half an hour prior to the start time of in-person sessions per week during the academic quarter
• Utilize the online learning platform to enrich the student learning experience for the online component of the course
• Be available to students via email, phone, text, and office hours to ensure students receive quality feedback in a timely manner to support their academic success
• Establish high standards and ensure students understand how they will be evaluated
• Adhere to University policies and procedures
• Attend faculty meetings and workshops or training as required

Requirements

• 5 years Professional Experience in a Finance-related field
• Doctorate in Finance or a Finance-related discipline required, or Doctorate in Business-related discipline with a Masters in Finance or a Finance-related discipline required
• Professional certification in discipline specialty (preferred, not required)
• Must be able to travel weekly to required location(s)
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs
• Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant
