About this role
Role Overview
Provides quality education and maintains high standards of academic excellence in teaching assigned courses in the discipline.
Teach assigned courses in person and asynchronously online.
Maintain office hours as assigned.
Required in-person meeting sessions for 2 hours every week held at a predetermined time.
Utilize the online learning platform to enrich the student learning experience for the online component of the course.
Be available to students via email, phone, text, and office hours for feedback.
Requirements
Doctorate in Accounting or an Accounting-related discipline required, or Doctorate in Business-related discipline with a Masters in Accounting or an Accounting-related discipline required
Teaching experience at the college level and online teaching experience are strongly preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of academic technology.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) software and overall computer skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of academic evaluation.
Proficiency in oral presentation skills, planning, and organizing of course objectives.
Must have strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Effective time management skills.
Must be able to travel weekly to required location(s).
Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
