Claims Specialist

Role Overview

• Managing claim-related activities by gathering and reviewing all relevant documentation
• Assessing claim causes and ensuring process codes are accurate and properly updated
• Coordinating with outside counsel on appropriate matters to support timely resolution
• Maintaining consistent communication by providing status updates and correspondence to claimants throughout the process

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Typically has 3-6 years title insurance or related experience
• Paralegal certification desirable
• Knows fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure
• Excellent problem solving, decision making and analytical skills
• Microsoft office products with an emphasis on MS Word and Excel
