Role Overview
- Drive product certification and regulatory compliance for EnerSys’ battery systems.
- Create validation plans to ensure all regulatory, certification, customer and internal requirements are met for a product.
- Work with UL/Intertek/CSA to achieve Listings and Recognitions of Products.
- Work with internal engineering teams to create required documentation for certification.
- Work with test houses to schedule testing.
- Support running changes of product lines and deviations including feedback on potential impacts to certification.
Requirements
- B.S. degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related technical field
- 7+ years of experience working with an NRTL
- Experience in leading and managing a cross-functional team in product development
- Previous experience of working with Li-Ion Technology is essential.
- Familiar with UN38.3, UL1973, UL2580, UL9540, UL9540A, IEC62616 test standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office program suite.
- Detailed report writing skills.
- Previous experience of delivering measurable results in a busy environment.
- Experience of working with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards.
- Demonstrate a high degree of safety practices in the workplace.
