About this role
Role Overview
- Support internal and external customers with engineering, technical information and installation information
- Provide prompt and accurate quotes for battery support equipment
- Develop and apply standards expertise (IEEE, ASCE, etc)
- Track and execute projects / ESR’s
- Processing custom sales orders
- Drafting support using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Creating BOM’s for new kits and batteries in BaaN and SAP
- Authorize / approve ECO’s, drawings, and designs
- Support Nuclear safety related projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in technical field with minimum 3 years related experience, or Associate’s degree in technical field with minimum 5 years of related work experience
- Knowledge of standby power equipment design, industry standards and quality procedures
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Above average knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of lead-acid or other battery chemistry
- The ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment
- High level of attention to detail
