Solves assigned technical product, process, component or material problems affecting efficient production of products within a specific area of responsibility under the guidance of more experienced engineers.
Implement technical changes or enhancements to existing equipment processes, products or components to fulfill customer requirements and to enable continuous improvement initiatives.
Evaluate and modify existing test methods, tool designs, manufacturing process procedures and documentation.
Receive, process and log all customer data.
Interface with internal and external customers on all data issues.
Define data contract and service level agreements.
Work with peers and IT team to define strategic plans for managing product data.
Act as Team Leader for specific Business Unit on projects.
Requirements
Two to Four years relevant experience
Knowledge and understanding of the design process for systems and printed circuit boards.
Knowledge and understanding of systems and printed circuit board manufacturing processes and equipment.
Knowledge of industry and quality standards.
Knowledge of testing software, processes and methodologies and failure analysis.
Knowledge of IT platforms, database design and programming languages.
Knowledge of some or all of the following: UNIX, NT, database management system.
Good organization skills.
Ability to evaluate, diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
Knowledge of materials and components used in the construction of systems and printed circuit boards and subassemblies.
Knowledge of industry and quality standards for incoming materials.
Ability to evaluate materials, gather and analyze data and determine root cause of problems.
Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of internal and external customers.
