Design Draftsman

Role Overview

• Provide drafting services to our two measurement engineering employees.
• The typical process would be our measurement engineers provide a high-level isometric drawing and the drafter would convert this to a fabrication drawing.
• Lead, collaborate, or work with multiple teams, including diverse teams

Requirements

• Engineering Tech (2-year) degree (not required, but preferred)
• 8-10 Years experience
• CAD drafting abilities (AutoCAD)
• Experience in utility, plant, or industrial environment
• Accountability and ownership of their role and how that fits into our station projects
• Basic knowledge of drafting principles.
• Full knowledge of computer skills for CAD system.
• Full knowledge of math and mechanical, electrical or civil drawings.
• Basic knowledge of company mapping methods.
