- Ensure company acquires profitable new business
- Lead the Cost Estimating group
- Optimize and replace old costing systems
- Critically review plant-provided costs
- Troubleshoot price/cost discrepancies
- Mentor costing staff
- Support program managers’ financial needs
- Standardize Program Management financial templates
- Partner with Sales for customer-funded expenditures
Requirements
- 10+ years in Tier 1 Automotive Finance or Cost Engineering
- Good track record on development and implementation of cost estimating / quoting / cost modelling tools
- Deep "shop-floor" understanding of manufacturing costs
- Experience managing a distributed team
- Advanced mastery of ECN impact tracking, PAR/CapEx management, and complex intercompany sales
