Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfilment, and dispatch activities ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Manage and lead a diverse team within the logistics operations department, fostering a culture of collaboration, safety, and continuous development
Implement and monitor operational processes to maximise productivity while maintaining compliance with company policies and legal requirements
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including inventory control, transport, and customer service to align operational goals and customer satisfaction
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching and training to develop team capabilities and ensure high team morale
Maintain accurate operational documentation, reporting on key performance indicators and generating insights to support data-driven decision-making
Support the implementation of technology and innovation projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and reducing costs
Ensure strict adherence to health, safety and environmental standards within the warehouse area
Requirements
Proven experience in logistics, warehouse management or a related operations supervisory role within the logistics sector
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organisational and problem-solving capabilities
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control software and basic IT skills essential
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with various stakeholders
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of health and safety regulations pertinent to warehouse and logistics operations
