Role Overview
- Drive QHSE excellence across the business
- Supporting the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of QHSE management systems in line with ISO standards
- Proactively manage risk, developing and embedding robust policies
- Be a visible QHSE leader on site, delivering audits, inspections and assurance activities
- Coaching operational teams to build a positive, proactive and values-driven safety culture
- Lead with insight and accountability, analysing QHSE performance data
- Investigating incidents and leading root cause analysis to implement effective corrective and preventative actions
Requirements
- Professionally qualified QHSE specialist, holding a NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
- Lead ISO Auditor status is desirable
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation
- ISO-aligned QHSE management systems and industry best practice
- Hands-on experience implementing safe systems of work including RAMS and Permit to Work
- Proven experience in fast-paced, operational environments, such as energy, utilities, construction or industrial services
- Ability to balance compliance requirements with commercial and operational demands
- Full UK driving licence essential
