About this role

Manage credit related activities for assigned products/regions
Assess and evaluate current and new business opportunities
Provide support to senior management in risk assessment and decision making
Liaise with Traders, Customers, and Banks to discuss credit matters and resolve issues
Analyze customer financial statements to authorize or recommend credit limits
Request and review third party credit reports and credit references
Visit customers to assess credit worthiness
Monitor exposure, release orders and manage collections of their own portfolio
Prepare and review reports to monitor exposures
Uphold internal credit policies and procedures

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a credit role
Spanish or Portuguese is a plus
Highly analytical and able to problem solve
Strong communication and presentation skills
Detail oriented
Comfortable being assertive and making tough decisions
Thrives in a fast paced environment
Strong technical proficiency in Excel
Familiarity with business intelligence tools and ERP systems (JD Edwards, Oracle BI, is a plus)
