Monitor all operating parameters of the extruders and multiple pieces of equipment to ensure quality production, minimize unplanned stops.
Greet and direct clients and applicants, sign in visitors, and announce their arrival to the appropriate party.
Field telephone calls and manage plant entry, including receiving messages for supervisors and management.
Serve as the point of contact for janitorial, uniform, and vending services.
Assist Plant Manager and other departments as needed.
Create and edit documents, perform data entry, and manage sorting, screening, and distributing incoming mail and faxes.
Order office supplies as needed, handle all purchase orders (POs), and manage purchasing for the entire plant if needed.
Requirements
Minimum of two years’ experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant, with the ability to work independently.
Reading, writing, and mathematical competency, along with excellent computer skills (MS Office).
Good interpersonal, organizational, communication, multitasking, and phone skills.
Ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization.
Rational and logical analysis skills with the ability to withstand frequent interruptions to workflow.
Physical ability to sit, stand, and walk on hard and/or uneven surfaces in all types of weather for the duration of the shift.
Lift, carry, and/or maneuver up to 30 lbs.
Repetitive use of keyboard and mouse to operate a computer for required tasks.
