Proactively generate new business through structured outbound calling, digital engagement and targeted site visits.
Build strong, trusted relationships with owner operators and small to medium contractors, understanding their equipment needs and commercial drivers.
Manage the sales funnel in CRM, ensuring accurate tracking of opportunities, customer interactions, issues and equipment data.
Prepare timely and accurate parts and service quotations, including rebuilds, labour CVAs, components, undercarriage and wear solutions.
Promote Caterpillar’s service and digital offerings such as CVAs, Repair Options, Rebuilds, HD360, VisionLink , Cat Inspect and Cat Central.
Resolve parts, warranty and service issues with internal stakeholders while promoting Caterpillar offerings such as CVAs, Repair Options, Rebuilds and digital platforms.
Monitor competitor activity and fleet movements while achieving performance targets across sales revenue, gross margin, payment terms, equipment health and issue management.
Requirements
Proven ability to build and maintain strong, mutually beneficial customer relationships.
High level of self motivation, initiative and a proactive approach to work.
Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Effective verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service focus.
Willingness to participate in ongoing training and continuous learning.
An understanding of Hastings Deering and Caterpillar support systems is advantageous.
A trade qualification or demonstrated technical aptitude would be highly regarded.
