Perform data analysis using state-of-the-art methods and advanced statistical and mathematical models with Python packages
Support our clients in accelerating process development and improving manufacturing efficiency through modelling approaches
Propose statistically sound experimental designs for process development and process characterization
Continuously explore new and innovative approaches to problem solving within the domain
Contribute to large industry projects, reporting to a Project Lead and ensuring technical rigor and accuracy of all findings
Interpret, present, and communicate results, recommendations, and solutions to clients
Maintain visibility on major projects and present findings to industry leaders
Business development: potential to attend conferences and industry events to expand professional network

Master’s degree and/or PhD with a focus on life sciences, bioprocess engineering, or statistics/data science
Interest in or experience with biotech/bioprocess engineering
Interest in interpreting and presenting statistical results to clients
Familiarity with Python for data handling, visualization, statistical analysis, and mathematical modelling (including differential equations)
Experience with object-oriented programming
Experience interpreting outputs of statistical analyses such as regression analysis, ANOVA, and design of experiments is a plus
Familiarity with ordinary and partial differential equations applied to chemical engineering problems is a plus
Proficient business English; business-level German is a plus
Team-oriented and comfortable working with an interdisciplinary team (biotechnologists, computer scientists, statisticians)
Highly autonomous and results-oriented, able to work to tight timelines
